Technology
There are thousands if not millions of types of technology out there today. A good portion of them have impacted my life. Everyday the computer impacts my life. If the computer was not invented then I would feel lost. I do alot of my stuff on computers. I manage my bank account, pay bills, and check news all on the computer. My computer is used to do almost all of my homework as well. Another technology that impacts my life is the automobile. I use my car everyday and could not imagine not having a car. The safety features that it has also an important technological advancement in society. The last thing that I am going to talk about that plays a large part in my life is the cell phone. I use my cell phone every day and feel naked without it. Not only do I call people on it but its a way that I can surf the web and commuicate with people via text messaging. If all of those technologies that I listed were taken away from me I do not know if I would be able to function. Well, I think I would manage but it would take a lot of getting used to.

I think it is so wierd that almost everyone has talked about how they are so dependant on their cell phones and the computer. I wonder what would happen if we didn't have those anymore.
I think that you brought up a good point about how important technology is now when it comes to our academic life, how we use it so much for writing papers, doing homework and researching certain subjects. Also what you said about cars is a very valid point as well. If cars no longer existed, the world as we know it would change very dramtically.
Cars and computers are truely what keeps me running as well. If i didn't have my car nor my computer i would be all but lost in this poor old world. I use those two things more than anything thing else, besides my cell phone.
When I was in China, there were times I didn't have all those technologies. Not because they didn't exist in China; nothing could be further from the truth. It's because service can be sketchy as a result of the exponential growth.
I nearly lost my mind not being able to communicate with others immediately. I think I would probably do the same here.
I like how you talked about using your car and the advancement on the safety features that it has. I do agree that technology is important when it comes to using the computer for your school work.
I definitely understand. My blog is actually pretty similar to yours. It made me laugh when I read it. I feel the same way. We have grown up with these new technologies and now if we didn't have them how would we manage? We would survive but we are used to having these luxuries.
